We are pleased to let you know that on 31 October 2021, Chorley Community Housing Limited merged (legally known as ‘a transfer of engagements’) with Jigsaw Homes North.

YOUR RIGHTS

Your new landlord is Jigsaw Homes North. Only the name of your landlord has changed. Your tenancy rights are not affected in any way. You will not get a new tenancy agreement as your existing tenancy agreement remains in force.

YOUR RENT

You should continue to pay rent as you do now. If you are in receipt of benefits or Universal Credit, your claim is not affected. We will contact your local council or DWP and notify them of the change.  Your rent will change from the beginning of April 2022. Jigsaw Homes North is bound by the same Government rules on rent increases as CCH. We will write to you at the appropriate time.

YOUR REPAIRS

The way you report repairs is not affected. You should continue to report repairs as you do now. Following restrictions that were introduced as a result of the pandemic, we are now operating a normal repairs service.

OTHER SERVICES

If you are experiencing financial hardship you can speak to our money advisers. If you are experiencing anti social behaviour or domestic violence, you can speak to our tenancy enforcement and support team. If you have the Right to Buy or the Right to Acquire, this is not affected.
