Gedling Homes, part of the Jigsaw Homes Group, is looking to recruit two Non-Executive Directors. This is an exciting opportunity, that will enable the successful candidates to help shape the strategic direction of Gedling Homes and support the Executive Management team in delivering the Board’s vision.
We are looking for numerate and logical thinkers with good communication skills, who have a strong senior management track record in a professional environment. We would particularly welcome applications from female and BAME applicants, who are currently underrepresented.
The successful candidates will work as part of Gedling Homes’ Board of execs and non-execs to lead and develop our business on establishing a much stronger presence in the East Midlands and driving the Group’s ambition to develop a clear offer in Nottinghamshire and beyond. This will help to ensure and secure a long term meaningful future, centred in the Gedling area.
Given this focus, applicants with the following skills and expertise are seen as desirable:

You should be prepared to commit at least 12 days per annum to the role. At the core of this commitment will be attendance at quarterly board meetings in Gedling and, as required, strategy events in Manchester.
All board members are provided with iPads to access board resources and the Group compensates Non-Executive Directors for the services they provide and time they commit to their role. The current payment level for subsidiary-level Non-Executive Directors is £4,500.
It is also the Group’s policy to reimburse Board Members for reasonable out of pocket expenses incurred in connection with their official duties for the Group or subsidiaries.
