As we approach April, our new financial year, we are looking ahead to where we want to focus our efforts. Like you, our key priority is health and safety; making sure your homes are safe, and improving our existing homes, as well as building new ones.
That’s why we are setting aside more money for repairs and recruiting more operatives and technicians to help with appointments.
Following our recent Tenant Satisfaction Survey, many of you told us what we do well, and areas where you would like to see improvements, so thank you to those who took part. We are now working on an action plan based on the results of the survey which will be released soon.
We also monitor our performance on a quarterly basis using over 40 Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). These are measurable values that show how effectively the Group is achieving its goals.
The most recent results, which look at how we are meeting target times for emergency repairs, satisfaction with repairs and handling complaints, can be found here>> Customer Service KPIs – Jigsaw Homes Group

Channelling Our Online Services Through One Website
We’re pleased to announce that following a recent refresh of our Jigsaw Homes Group website we are looking at channelling services from our landlord websites to www.jigsawhomes.org.uk
We’ve made this change as part of our commitment to continually improve your experience of our website services.
From 01 April 2025, all website visitors to midlands.jigsawhomes.org.uk, north.jigsawhomes.org.uk and tameside.jigsawhomes.org.uk will be automatically redirected to our parent website www.jigsawhomes.org.uk.
A single website will allow for greater control over the consistency of information and functionality improvements, all while keeping the interface and experience you’re familiar and comfortable with.
A recent Jigsaw Rewards survey with residents from our group members found it was easy and/or very easy to access key services and accessibility options on our group website.
• No Action Required: If you visit our old site, you will be automatically redirected to www.jigsawhomes.org.uk. All bookmarks and links to our site will still work seamlessly
• Same Services, Same Look: You can expect the same features, design, and content you know and trust. This change will not impact your experience or any of the services you currently use.
• Contacting Jigsaw: All our contact details, telephone numbers, email addresses and payment services will remain the same so you don’t need to worry about any changes in communications with Jigsaw.

Keeping You Safe in Your Home
Our top priority for the year ahead (April 2025) alongside delivering new homes, is the continued improvement of our existing homes, particularly in addressing issues that affect your health and well-being.
In response to reports around damp and mould we have set up a new, dedicated Healthy Homes team. This specialist team will focus on tackling damp and mould issues and making sure that you receive the support and service you need to maintain a healthy living environment.
As always, if you do need to report a repair or issue with damp and mould, please get in touch.
From October to December 2024, across the Group, we carried out:
- 7,650 Emergency repairs
- 33,868 Urgent and routine / non-emergency repairs
- 8,959 Gas safety checks
- 837 PET tests
422 empty homes were repaired ready for re-letting, helping more people into affordable homes
