Final call to Chorley residents for Jigsaw Foundation funding applications

Our Chorley residents are now invited to apply for a share of £56,000 available in the area from our Jigsaw Foundation. Resident groups, community groups, charitable organisations and social enterprises in Chorley are now being urged to submit their bids for funding.

Our Jigsaw Foundation is a fund run by Jigsaw Group. It is used to help set up and run community groups and initiatives. Many projects across Chorley have already received funding this year.  These projects have included drop in events for elderly residents, first aid equipment and gym equipment.

Chorley Angels First Aid Group is one such project. They are a group of volunteers who attend a range of events across Chorley and the surrounding areas to provide first aid support. £2,074 was granted to them which enabled them to purchase new equipment, like a radio system.

Once bids have been received, they will then be sent for approval by Jigsaw residents via the Jigsaw Rewards programme. Jigsaw Rewards allows our residents to earn points in return for submitting their views on a range of subjects, including Jigsaw Foundation funding. These points can then be exchanged for rent credit or high street vouchers.
