Jigsaw Homes colleagues joined local Councillor Mohammed Shamsul Karim to clean up the Hazelhurst community in Ashton.
The clean-up day was organised by Neighbourhood Engagement Officer Minaz Aslam alongside Officers Vikki Fitzpatrick, Carolyn Alston and Julie Fraser.
Jigsaw’s Group Director of Asset Management, Mathew George, and Group Director of Neighbourhoods and Support, Donna Kelly, also attended the event alongside several colleagues, our Hit Squad and Clean Care team.
Councillor Karim helped to support the day, and road sweepers were provided by Tameside Council to tidy up the neighbourhood.
Colleagues took part in a litter pick, and we hired two skips for the residents to use and remove unwanted items from their gardens.
Vikki said, “It was a successful day, and we are very grateful to everyone who showed their support.”
