Jigsaw Homes Group Chair Set to Step Down

Jigsaw Homes Group has announced the Chair of its Group Board Fay Selvan will be stepping down in December, after the maximum of nine years at the helm.

Fay was appointed Chair in 2014 and was instrumental in the creation of Jigsaw.  Fay has led the Board in driving and challenging the organisation to ensure it remains a highly successful housing provider and employer of choice.

Under her leadership she helped drive the Board to deliver its objectives by encouraging constructive debates and consensus around the Group’s strategic priorities of delivering more new homes, maintaining existing homes and supporting its communities.

Fay, who is CEO of The Big Life Group, has helped steer Jigsaw through significant milestones, ensuring its continued growth and success.

She said: “It has been an enormous privilege and pleasure to Chair Jigsaw’s Group Board, with knowledgeable, experienced and passionate board members and senior team. Like every sector, social housing has faced challenging times, but we have remained committed to serving our customers and providing good quality affordable homes.”

Fay will be succeeded by Roli Barker, the current Chair of Housing North Board, which includes Jigsaw Homes North and Jigsaw Homes Tameside. Roli brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the organisation’s values and goals and is well-prepared to guide and challenge the Group into the future.

Hilary Roberts, Chief Executive of Jigsaw Homes Group said: “Fay’s retirement marks the closing of a successful and dedicated time as our Board Chair. We are immensely grateful for her dedication, drive and deep-rooted commitment to making a positive difference to customer and communities. We look forward to welcoming Roli as the new Chair in January 2024.”
