Men in Gorton, Manchester have a safe space to open up, chat and connect with one another thanks to a new group that aims to support men’s mental health.
The Men’s Talking Circle support group was organised by Jigsaw’s
Neighbourhood Engagement Team and Bolton at Home to address the gap in services for men aged 18- 40 years old.
Charity MANDEM facilitates the group, which runs every second and fourth Tuesday of every month, from 6pm at Gorton Library. Each session provides men with a confidential space to talk to each other or simply just sit and listen.
They are able to gain a sense of community, emotional literacy, brotherhood and also be better listeners.
