At Anchor Mill in Oldham, Neighbourhood Engagement Officer Asmina Choudhury organised two Easter activity sessions with two volunteers for local children.
Around 16 children took part in Easter-themed arts and crafts activities, including decorating their own Easter eggs and Easter baskets.
Parent Kairun Nessa said: “‘We should have more of these activities in the area as it’s somewhere to take our children out, away from home and away from computer games.”
At Assheton House in Tameside, contractors Casey Group brought smiles to local children as they donated sweet Easter treats to those living in the apartment block.
Assheton House is undergoing a full transformation and will benefit from structural repairs, thermal efficient external wall insulation, and windows. It has also received new soil vent pipes, new electric heating systems and mechanical ventilation to all homes.
The treats were part of a thank you to residents for their patience during work taking place over the past few months, and which is expected to be completed in September 2025.
