Thanks to our all volunteers across Jigsaw, we have helped 246 vulnerable residents stay a little bit safer and warmer with our winter warmer campaign.
The Neighbourhood Engagement Team, joined by volunteers from across the organisation, helped put together essential winter warmer packs including blankets, shower timers, draft excluders, warm refreshments and then distributed them to residents most in need.
Vikki Fitzpatrick, Neighbourhood Engagement Officer, said: “Thank you to everyone who volunteered and worked hard alongside us to make this campaign a success. Each year, the winter warmer packs make such a difference to our residents; we always get great feedback and the teamwork throughout the company is brilliant to see. The neighbourhood engagement team puts a lot of work into preparing these packs, so it’s great to see so many people benefit from them.”
One resident said: “I am going through a tough time right now, on my own with four children, with what seems to be one problem after the next, so I just wanted to say thank you – it really put smile on mine and my eldest boys faces!”
