Jigsaw Homes Group is proud to be supporting Reuben’s Retreat throughout 2026, as voted for by our colleagues.
The family-run charity, based in Glossop in Derbyshire, supports families who have suffered the loss of a child or who are caring for a child living with medical complexities.
It was set up in 2012 by Nicola and Mike Graham, whose son Reuben passed away following a brain tumour shortly before his second birthday.
Nicola wanted to support families facing tough situations and has provided families with tailor-made support packages and guidance to help them navigate their journey through counselling, wellbeing activities, holistic therapies and respite breaks.
Currently, the organisation is renovating a former hospital and surrounding buildings at Park Crescent in Glossop, working in planned stages to create a holiday ‘home from home’ where families can visit and make precious memories together.
They are now fundraising for their next phases which will include three fully accessible apartments, and with support and contributions throughout the year, each donation will bring the charity closer to completing their retreat and offering a sanctuary for families.
The team said: “Thank you for choosing Reuben’s Retreat as your charity of the year. We are currently supporting over 900 beneficiaries, which we couldn’t do without kind hearts like yours. As a non-government funded charity, we are truly grateful for every penny raised. We are delighted to be working with you all at Jigsaw Homes and look forward to all we can achieve together throughout the year.”
