Paul brings extensive governance experience, having served on a number of housing association boards over many years, including in Chair and Vice-Chair roles. His background in sociology has given him particular expertise in risk management, health policy, and social value, helping organisations deliver positive outcomes for the communities they serve.
Professionally, Paul works as a Data and Impact Analyst for a Salford-based charity supporting women involved in the criminal justice system. He is passionate about using data, insight, and strong governance to improve services and ensure organisations remain focused on the needs of their customers and communities.
Andrew is the Deputy Executive Leader of Tameside Council, with responsibility for Growth, Housing and Homelessness. Outside of his council role, Andrew is a qualified Chartered Building Surveyor, a company director and married with two children.
With more than 30 years of experience in the construction and property sector, he has developed extensive expertise in construction management, programme and project management. Throughout his career, he has worked across the UK for leading organisations including Driver Jonas, Deloitte, AtkinsRéalis, Manchester City Council, and the Property Services Agency.
He now runs a specialist surveying and property consultancy based in Ashton-under-Lyne. Andrew brings a wealth of professional knowledge, practical experience and a passion for improving services and outcomes for local residents and communities.
Brian is the Group Chief Executive of Jigsaw. He has lead responsibility to work with the board of management to develop and implement corporate strategy.
Brian held the post of Deputy Chief Executive and Company Secretary at Jigsaw for five years. He has 17 years experience at executive level, having worked previously as Director of Corporate Services. Brian has a research background and is highly experienced in data analysis.
During his career he has ran and developed a range of central services including those focused on customer service, governance, corporate planning, resident engagement, regulation, information technology, marketing and communications, and human resources.
Chris has served the residents of Chorley for over 14 years as a Borough Councillor and was recently elected to Lancashire County Council, representing Chorley Central Division. Having recently retired, Chris brings a wealth of experience from a successful career in the construction and property development industry.
His extensive professional background, combined with many years of public service, provides him with a strong understanding of local communities and the challenges they face. Chris is committed to working hard on behalf of residents and championing the interests of Chorley at both borough and county level.
Janet brings a wealth of customer service and employment experience through her previous roles with Willow Wood Hospice and Cancer Research UK. She currently works as a Job Coach supporting students to develop customer service skills and prepare for employment.
Having previously served as a Board Member of the Jigsaw Homes Landlords Board, Janet brings valuable governance experience and a strong understanding of customer engagement.
Living and working in Tameside gives Janet a keen insight into the issues facing customers and the wider community, and she is passionate about ensuring customers’ voices are heard and reflected in decision-making.
Jessica is Jigsaw Homes tenant based in Nottinghamshire, with a background in housing and a strong commitment to customer engagement. She currently work as a tutor, delivering housing qualifications and supporting the development of future housing professionals.
She is passionate about tenant involvement and ensuring that customers’ voices are heard. She is excited to be part of the Jigsaw Customer Committee and to contribute to shaping and improving services for residents.
Keryn is a Community Safety Manager for Cambridge City Council.
She is an experienced Safer Communities professional, with a 10-year record of successfully delivering multi-agency partnerships and projects covering issues such as the resettlement of asylum seekers and refugees, ASB, hate crime, gang violence and domestic violence.
Laura is a Jigsaw Homes tenant with a background in customer service, marketing, and operational improvement. She is passionate about putting residents at the heart of decision-making and ensuring their voices are heard and valued.
Drawing on both her professional experience and customer perspective, she is committed to supporting the Customer Committee in representing residents’ interests and helping to drive continuous improvement in services across the Group.
Matt is a former North West based Housing Association Development Executive and CEO and has over 30 years of executive level experience in the housing sector.[/caption]
He is also Chair of South Yorkshire Housing Association, is a NED at This City, the Manchester City Council housing development company and has established a Housing consultancy business.
Michelle currently works as a Teaching Assistant and has a long-standing commitment to customer involvement. As a former Tenant Inspector, she has direct experience of scrutinising services and representing customers’ views.
Michelle also served as a Board Member of the Jigsaw Homes Landlords Board, where she developed valuable governance and strategic insight. She brings this experience, together with a strong customer focus, to the Customer Committee, helping to ensure residents’ voices are heard and reflected in the development and improvement of services.
Samuel is Chief Executive Officer of Young Manchester, a youth-led partnership that supports organisations working with children and young people across the city. He brings extensive experience in leadership, community development and governance, alongside a strong commitment to empowering young people and strengthening local communities.
Having benefited from youth services himself, Samuel is passionate about ensuring young people’s voices are heard and that they have access to opportunities that help them thrive. Samuel brings valuable insight into community engagement, collaboration and inclusive decision-making.
Shannon is a Jigsaw Homes tenant, a proud mum and enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog. Having grown up in care, Shannon is passionate about championing the voices of care-experienced people and helping others overcome barriers.
In her role as an Employment Worker for the local council, she supports people to recognise their strengths, realise their potential and achieve their goals. Shannon hopes to bring the same passion and commitment to the Customer Committee, helping ensure residents’ voices are heard and valued.
