Jigsaw Homes Group, one of the largest housing providers in England has announced its Chief Executive Officer, Hilary Roberts will be stepping down from her role on 01 March 2024, marking the end of her 33 year career with the organisation.

Hilary joined the 36,000-home organisation in 1991, first with County Palatine and then Adactus which she led into the merger with New Charter to form Jigsaw Homes in 2018.

She has played a pivotal role in Jigsaw’s growth and success and its mission of providing safe, affordable housing and support services to thousands of residents across the North West and East Midlands.

During her time as CEO, she spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at expanding the reach and impact of the Group, establishing strong partnerships with local authorities, government agencies and other stakeholders.

Hilary said: “It has been an incredible privilege to lead Jigsaw, working with brilliant and caring colleagues, overcoming challenges and feeling like we have made a difference to the lives of so many people.

“I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together; always looking to provide the best service to our customers, striving to be the best developers and always improving the business.

“I am confident that Jigsaw is well-positioned for continued success. I want to express my gratitude to the board, colleagues and all our partners for their support.”

The Board of Directors at Jigsaw Homes Group are undertaking a recruitment process to identify a successor who will continue the successful work of the organisation.

Group Chair Fay Selvan said: “Hilary’s retirement marks the closing of a long and successful career dedicated to housing. Her leadership has been instrumental in advancing Jigsaw’s aim of building more new homes and services to positively impact people’s lives. As we look to the future, we remain committed to building on her legacy and continuing to make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.”
