Moody’s re-affirms A2 stable rating for Jigsaw Group

Credit rating agency Moody’s has re-affirmed  Jigsaw Homes Group Limited’s A2 stable rating.

In its report published on 28 January 2022, the agency which rates the financial position of organisations across the UK, said this score reflected the group’s strong financial position and improved financial management.

The rating also incorporates the group’s increased development ambitions with an appetite for market sales and its moderate debt metrics.

Jigsaw Group ranks among the top rated housing providers in the UK and a strong regulatory framework governing English housing associations (HAs) is an added benefit.

Hilary Roberts, Jigsaw Homes Group Chief Executive said: “Our strong financial position, which will assist with our aim to build 4,000 homes over the next five years and help us deliver better services is reflected in this latest rating. This demonstrates the ongoing strength and resilience of the Group and we are pleased to retain our A2 rating.”

This gives our customers, colleagues and partners assurance in the Group’s ability to continue its work in tackling the housing crisis and delivering much more needed affordable homes across the North West and East Midlands.
