Residents in Chorley and Miles Platting Enjoy Easter Egg Hunt

Residents from Coppull and Miles Platting enjoyed an egg-stra special Easter thanks to the Jigsaw Homes Neighbourhood Engagement Team.

An Easter egg hunt and seed planting day took place at Byron Crescent Community Garden and Longfield Avenue in Coppull, Chorley.

Neighbourhood Engagement Officer Tracy Townson organised the events to help residents get outside, meet others in the local community and have fun during the Easter holidays.

Children explored the gardens to try and find as many Easters eggs as possible, placing them inside craft baskets designed by other residents who also planted seeds into small pots to take home.

In Miles Platting, an Easter egg hunt was also held alongside an Easter hamper raffle at the Miles Platting Community Grocer.

Gemma Bennett, Jigsaw Homes’ Neighbourhood Engagement Officer, helped to run the event which was attended by around 50 residents.

Children were also gifted Easter bonnet craft kits to decorate their own festive hats and take part in fun arts and crafts activities.
