Making Kind Connections with Manchester Mind

Our Jigsaw Foundation has partnered up with Manchester Mind and awarded £15,000 in funding to the Kind Connections project which aims to support residents with their mental health.

The project will provide weekly sessions in which a listening ear, a warm meal, wellbeing activities and a safe space will be available for up to 100 Jigsaw residents to benefit from until October 2024.

A dedicated group of staff and volunteers will be on hand to lead the sessions, based at the Zion Community Centre in Hulme, and will be there for all attendees to discuss anything on their mind.

Tara Kinsella, Service Manager at Manchester Mind, said: “This service is a lifeline to many people in the community and thanks to funding from the Jigsaw Foundation, we can continue to provide much needed mental health support to those who may struggle to access it.”

You can make referrals for any Jigsaw Homes residents living in Hulme, Moss Side, Chorlton, Rusholme, Whalley Range, Withington and Burnage by completing the referral form here>>.
