A new gardening club has begun to get off the ground in Chorley.
It was all hands, forks and trowels on deck, at Buttermere Community Centre with around nine residents joining the first session.
They took part in pot planting and creating hanging baskets to take home.
Our Neighbourhood Engagement Officer Tracy Townson worked closely with SVP Chorley Buddies to deliver the first session, giving residents the opportunity to learn new skills while enjoying time outdoors together.
One resident, Marie said: “They made me feel very welcome and I really enjoyed this activity! I will come again – thank you!”
