Our Neighbourhood Engagement Team helped residents take steps into employment and training at the Oldham Jobs Fair last week.
The Jobs Fair took place at Oldham Library and was organised by Oldham DWP. A wide variety of employers and support services attended to help people seeking work and training opportunities.
Around 120 people visited Jigsaw’s stall and spoke to our Neighbourhood Officers Carolyn Alston, Joanne Shaw, and John McGlynn alongside our Neighbourhood Plan Delivery Manager Natalie Twomey.
The team promoted live Jigsaw vacancies, our 20% Movement initiative and JET
(Jigsaw Employment Team) training and support services.
