Our Neighbourhood Engagement Team attended Moss Side Together Festival last week and provided essential advice to residents and families enjoying the community fun day.
Officer Vikki Fitzpatrick and Sarah Keenan, Jigsaw’s Head of Neighbourhoods, hosted a stall at the festival, handing out 100 activity packs to residents.
The packs consisted of information leaflets around saving money and finding employment support, as well as colour packs, books, sweet treats and drinks for children, alongside Jigsaw merchandise.
The free festival took place at Broadfield Park and was organised by housing provider Mosscare St Vincents. Several partner organisations were invited including Greater Manchester Police and Fire Service and local health champions
The event provided a fun space for residents to enjoy family time together with a bouncy castle, climbing wall, sports activities and refreshments available.
