Customer Committee Welcomes New Members

Three new tenants have joined our Customer Committee which was introduced in April 2026 to strengthen customer voices at the heart of our governance.

The Committee aims to brings tenants’ voices into our strategic decision making, ensuring residents’ experiences and priorities are reflected in our policies, service standards and organisational strategy.

Our new members are:

Shannon Cullen – a proud mum who enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog. Having grown up in care, Shannon is passionate about championing the voices of care-experienced people and helping others overcome barriers. In her role as an Employment Worker for the local council, she supports people to recognise their strengths, realise their potential and achieve their goals. Shannon hopes to bring the same passion and commitment to the Customer Committee, helping ensure residents’ voices are heard and valued.

Laura Bryson has a background in customer service, marketing, and operational improvement. She is passionate about putting residents at the heart of decision-making and ensuring their voices are heard and valued. Drawing on both her professional experience and customer perspective, she is committed to supporting the Customer Committee in representing residents’ interests and helping to drive continuous improvement in services across the Group.

Jessica O’Brien – lives in Nottinghamshire and has a background in housing and a strong commitment to customer engagement. She currently works as a tutor, delivering housing qualifications and supporting the development of future housing professionals. She is passionate about tenant involvement and is excited to be part of the committee to help contribute to shaping and improving services for residents.

The Customer Committee will play a key role in making sure residents’ views and experiences directly influence decisions. Having three tenant members reflects our commitment to listening to and working with customers.

Members recently held their first meeting in July. They will attend four meetings a year, serving for at least 12 months, up to a maximum of three years.
