Building homes. Creating communities. Valuing everyone.

Building homes. Creating communities. Valuing everyone.

As a member of the Manchester Housing Providers’ Partnership, we’re committed to equality, diversity and inclusion. We stand against discrimination, hate and racism in all its forms and will continue to challenge prejudice wherever it exists.

Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and able to be themselves. No one should experience hostility or prejudice because of their disability, race, religion, sexual orientation or transgender identity.

Our role goes beyond providing homes. We work alongside customers, partners and local organisations to help create strong, welcoming communities where people from different backgrounds can live well together, build connections and feel that they belong. By encouraging understanding, celebrating diversity and fostering mutual respect, we support communities to grow into places where people can thrive.

We know hate incidents can have a real impact on individuals and communities, and that many incidents go unreported. That’s why we want our customers to know that you can tell Jigsaw if you experience or witness hate in your home or neighbourhood

You don’t need to know whether what happened is a hate crime before contacting us. We can listen to what has happened, explain what we can do and where appropriate, work with the police or other organisations to provide support and take action.

Reporting also helps us understand what’s happening in our communities, spot repeating problems and take action where we can.

If you’ve experienced or witnessed a hate incident, please get in touch.
