An update from our Group Chief Executive – November 2026

At a glance…

  • Successful funding bid to the Government’s Social and Affordable Homes Programme
  • £250m to build 1,990 new affordable homes
  • Strong financial statements
  • Supporting your communities – our Tenants’ Annual Report is published

Last month brought some good news for Jigsaw. We were delighted to be chosen by Homes England, the government’s housing and regeneration agency, as a Strategic Partner, securing £250 million in funding to help deliver 1,990 new affordable homes.

This funding will help us make an even bigger difference in the communities we serve, creating more affordable housing and giving more people the opportunity to have a safe, secure place to call home.

Not every housing association who bid for funding from the Social and Affordable Homes Programme was successful. Jigsaw was one of 29 registered providers across the country who received it, due to our strong track record of delivering new homes, maintaining financial strength and keeping our promises to residents.

What does this mean for you? Having a strong financial position is important as it allows us to continue investing in homes, improving services and supporting our communities. Our recently published Financial Statements provide a more detailed picture of our robust financial position and performance over the past year.

As promised, we have invested in existing homes, with a range of upgrades including kitchen, bathroom and window replacements to around 800 homes across the North West.

In partnership with energy efficiency specialists RE:GEN, we have also completed more than 1,050 measures to homes that fall below EPC Level E, to make them warmer, more energy efficient and safer – from solar panels and new windows and doors to wall and loft insulation. This is part of our work to upgrade all our homes to EPC Level C by 2030.

We’ve also published our Tenants’ Annual Report, which looks back at what we’ve achieved over the past year. The report sets out how we’ve invested in homes, services and acted on the feedback you’ve shared with us. It shows how your views help shape the decisions we make and the improvements we deliver.

And we will shortly be publishing our latest Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, providing an easy-to-read and easy-to-compare account of our ESG activities over the last 12 months.

All the best,

Brian Moran

Group Chief Executive

Listening to Your Feedback

We have a customer-centric approach to how we operate. Listening to you and your views is key to delivering effective, fair, and accessible housing services.

To help improve our services together, we have several ways you can give us your feedback – from taking part in Jigsaw Rewards surveys and being on our Scrutiny Panel to participating in our Tenant Satisfaction Measures surveys if you are contacted.

Jigsaw Homes Group has partnered with independent research company M·E·L Research to carry out customer satisfaction surveys on our behalf.

As a Jigsaw resident, you may be contacted by telephone, email or text message inviting you to take part in surveys. Any contact made by M·E·L Research will be solely for research and customer satisfaction purposes, with personal information handled in line with data protection legislation.
