Hyde Festival Theatre has been able to deliver engaging mental health and wellbeing workshops thanks to funding of £4,414 from Jigsaw Foundation.
The workshops are part of the Stage of Reflection project, and took place at the theatre on Corporation Street in Hyde during the Easter half-term holidays.
They are designed to support young people aged 7-17 from across the borough in understanding and expressing their feelings.
Through a combination of drama, yoga, and arts and crafts, the sessions created a safe, welcoming space helping young people to build confidence, learn coping strategies, and explore their emotions in a positive and creative way.
Project Lead, Steven Oliver-Grant said: “We are incredibly grateful to Jigsaw for their generous funding, and to the local residents who voted for our project – your support is making a real difference to the lives of young people in our community.”
