JET Team Reaches Major Milestone

Jigsaw’s JET team helped 253 residents achieve their Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification since January, supporting people to develop new skills and improve their employment prospects.

Of those learners, 202 residents completed face-to-face training with Neighbourhood Engagement Officers John McGlynn, Asmina Choudhury and Tracy Townson across our communities.

A further 51 residents successfully completed an online version of the course, ensuring flexible access for those unable to attend in person.

The latest course was held at the Jigsaw Dukinfield Hub last week and saw 17 residents successfully complete the one-day programme.

As a result of the JET team’s success, Jigsaw Homes can now work towards Champion Status as a registered approved learning centre, building on the current silver status.

Further recognition has come from Trainer Courses Ltd, the UK’s leading healthcare train-the-trainer provider. They have chosen JET to take part in a core values case study following the team’s strong performance in maintaining compliance standards, providing certification records on time and consistently delivering high-quality training.

JET is aiming to achieve Champion Status in October by demonstrating excellence across a number of key areas, including leadership, learner-focused delivery, ethics and personal development.

As part of the process, the team will provide evidence showcasing how its approach not only meets but exceeds the standards expected of an approved learning centre.
