Overview

In 2026/27, Jigsaw Homes is investing more than £23million into upgrading hundreds of homes in the North West, including Tameside, Oldham, Leigh, Chorley and Cheshire.

Investing in our homes

Roof Replacements

£4.7m will be invested in replacing roofs across Tameside, Oldham, Leigh and Manchester.

Windows and Doors Replacements

Over £2.5 million worth of window and external door replacements will take place in Chorley, Wigan, Winsford and Manchester.

Kitchen Replacements

The installation of new kitchens forms part of a £2.5m phased programme also including bathrooms and windows.

Bathroom Replacements

New bathrooms are due to be installed as part of a £2.5m phased programme alongside windows and kitchens.

External Upgrades

£10.1m will help ensure our properties are safety compliant and energy efficient providing healthy environments for our residents to live in.

Energy Efficiency Upgrades

We have set aside £1.1 million for new boilers and improved heating systems in Over 55's schemes.

Be Zero sets out our ambitious plans to become a carbon neutral organisation by 2050. The projects and initiatives we will be delivering as part of our new evolving sustainability strategy, will not only be good for business and the planet, but will also improve the health and wellbeing of our communities.
